We at the Elverum Festival would like to extend a big thank you to the Sparebankstiftelsen Hedmark for supporting this year’s anniversary and the festival atmosphere in the city. Thank you very much for helping to make several great festival experiences possible for the audience and us. This year’s gift in connection with the implementation of the 50th anniversary was crucial in being able to implement the desired number of free events during the festival period.

The Festival implemented a total of 23 free events in the center of Elverum during the festival. These were the following events: Children’s Festival with Sjøholmen (art workshop), Children’s Festival with Øistein’s Pencil (art workshop), Visit of His Majesty the King’s Guard with drill display and concert (here also together with local and regional children’s choirs), Chamber concerts with the Youth Symphony Orchestra, Meet the Artist, Festival Fair (with musical performances), Festival exhibitions (art), serving breakfast and a number of varied outdoor concerts with artists such as Hans Aaseth’s and Hans Orchestra, Return, GRYNT, Vandrarne with Lasse Johansen and Terje Moen, Robin Tinholt and Built for Speed.
